Wind turbine foundations are typically made of high-strength steel materials (such as Q345B, Q460C, etc.), forming a framework or box-type structure through welding, bolt connection, etc. This structure possesses high load-bearing capacity, deformation resistance, and excellent fatigue strength, effectively resisting the vibration and dynamic loads generated during the operation of wind turbines in complex wind conditions. For large or extra-large wind turbines, the foundation may be cast as a whole using cast iron to achieve higher structural rigidity and better vibration damping performance.

A: MT, PT, UT, RT, and VT are our primary methods for quality inspection.


Q6: If there is no request from the customer, what is the spot check rate of the factory on the weld quality?

A: The usual rate is 20%, unless Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is necessary.
